We needed money so we could put on "real" dog shows so we held the famous (or infamous) club Rummage Sale Fundraiser at Kari Olsons...
Our Rummage was sure fun, and we even made some money..that'd Dorothy Johnson sitting in the lawn chair, Dick Budny on the lounge
with a dog. Barb Budny hs a striped top, and she is in the middle of the photo. Baldur the Brave was Kari Olson's young male, about a year old
and who was dressed up by Viki Lawton his breeder.
Becky was always making us laugh..... and Kjella was Kari Olsons Olson's Kjella Av Bondegard CDX with the FAMOUS berry basket bra.

We had so much fun we had to do it again! Back to Kettle Moraine State Park on the Scuppernong Trail.

THE GMNEA MOOSE
Looking to improve upon our State Fair booth, the women of GMNEA decided it needed a MOOSE . Not finding one easily we decided to BUILD A MOOSE. AND WE DID!
We used a PVC pipe frame, added chickenwire, padding and fiberfill, then sewed fur over it. Adding antlers and eyes, nostrils, it became...............OUR MOOSE.
The builders were Becky Thompson, Barb Budny, Bobbie Oxley and Kari Olson-
CH VIKIRO BELLE'S DESPERADO supervising Add chickenwire and fiberfill
Sew the fiberfill so it fits nicely then add the fur and sew it.
Eyes and big nostrils fit the bill... Ready for the fair with Ch Midnight Sun Heartlight CDX

HOUNDS FOR THE HOLIDAY AGILITY TRIALS
Our club held All breed agility trials for a number of years along with the Daschund club calling it Hounds for the Holidays.
Becky was in charge of the raffle, and everyone brought items, even many of the agility entrants.

GMNEA FUN DAY
This year we weren't so lucky as to have the great weather of the past two years, but we did our best , had fun and a great pot luck.
It rained but we made the best of it! We worked on puppy socialization, obedience and tracking .

Actually he had to share them with Indy... and Boulder. But he got to do the sit stay with them at least.

GMNEA members and guests returned to Chris and John Olson's beautiful home for a day of fun, food, and elkies. We had tracking , agility, and nosework, as well as a meeting for the people.
