The GMNEA goes to Texas!

NEAA AND NECGH SPECIALTIES
Our group of eight dogs and six GMNEA members drove down from Wisconsin to Chicago with Bob and Viki Lawton. We picked up Cam and Jon LaBree. We then caught a plane, with a direct flight to Houston.

Cam and Jon La Bree (not GMNEA members) and Ch Jo Cala's The Grey Ghost and Ch Jo Cala's Wicked Wanda.
All people and dogs arrived safely although some dogs got sick in their crates. I won't name them to protect the owners.
My luggage went to California for a day. Other memorable moments of my first National... tornado alarm and I won the raffle of a beautiful hand made quilt by Fern Kesler of PSNEA. Everyone was envious.

The NEAA obedience entry was 28 elkhounds.
Eileen showed Roman in Graduate Novice and won 1st Place!
Harry Beggs also came with his two dogs, Thom Thom Acer-Don Lollipop UD, entered in Open and Utility
and Ch Thom Thom Jup-Don Big Guy entered in Novice B. Guy won the NEAA High in Trial with a 196 making us all proud of them.

NECC SPECIALTY
Groleaus, Budnys, Harry Beggs and Kari Olson went to the NECC National in Winnepeg.
Groleaus and Budnys drove a camper , Harry and Kari flew. On the plane ride home, our landing was aborted due to a small plane taking off. The newspaper called it a near miss.
Harry won High in Trial at the Canadian National.
